People in my family, as well as family friends and email correspondents, think I should know all about the relationship between Homeric epic, the Epic of Gilgamesh, and other epic poems. Unfortunately, I'm a bit out of my depth on this one, but I have put together some references that may help all of us, mostly written by authors I am familiar with.
